What's the deal with shrubberies?
Jun. 14th, 2009 11:35 amThat's easy enough to explain, but maybe not so easy to understand, since it roots with my own madness.
I've taken a weird and obsessive liking to the word shrubbery ever since I realised that both Monty Python and Jane Austen rely on it for plot points. Also because I like the sound of the word.
In almost all of my stories, at least those that are not so very serious, a shrubbery is mentioned at some place or other, just because I can. Thus, I decided to name this place The Shrubbery, although, perhaps, that should have been The Shrubberies, for there shall be many.
Mwahhhaahhhaaa.
