Waiting for a new assignment: Ewa

Thing is, I don't really think What Rick Did In Poland will ever come to anything. Truth is, I don't really want it to. I mean, it's nice to know what he did, sort of my own fanfic, but I'm not really trying to make it a story and it will likely remain what it is now, just a couple of scenes.

But --- I really don't want to let go of Ewa! I love her to bits; she was what really kept this story going, much more than Rick. I just want to take her somewhere else.

Problem is, of course, Ewa is rather firmly rooted in the Second World War, and I don't think I want to write about that again, I'd make it repetitive.

So for the moment, Ewa is just waiting around ... one day I'll find something for her. I hope.
